This course is designed for students interested in a career in education. Students will be immersed in schools around this area through a variety of experiences, including student teaching practicums and collaboration with leaders to develop solutions for needs in education. The rules for being a teacher are changing rapidly. Innovative thinking is needed and you can influence and lead in a meaningful way. Learn what works in the classroom, interact with students at all grade levels (early childhood through college and career), and create tools for student success. You will collaborate with teaching professionals across all areas (classrooms, special services, administration) to understand the new world of education and prepare you for your career to impact lives and influence the next generation of problem solvers and leaders to make a better tomorrow.
